I serve at pleasure of Against Me! fans.

 

He referenced "Tomorrow Never Knows" off of Revolver, along with Tame Impala and a single I can't remember from Tom Pettty and The Heartbreakers (it had an Alice In Wonderland based music video), which is what sparked that train of thought. We were learning about how Pop borrowed Indian influence.

I hope that cleared that up.

I was mostly perplexed that you haven't really heard the Beatles. Haha

I always had the mentality that I wanted to dive into them once I had a really good grasp of music so I could analyze their influence on the cultures after them. On the bus ride home, I realized that if I keep saying that, I'll keep pushing it back and I'll never dive in. Since I know a good chunk about music now, maybe not a whoooooole lot, but enough to understand a some elements, I decided I might as well start now.

Listened to Revolver on my way home and I dug it.

 

I distinctly remember my "super into the Beatles" phase.

We've all had them, eh?

 

The beautiful thing about music is that you can appreciate it no matter what your understanding level is. I have loved The Beatles since I was 4. I loved different things when I was 10 than I did then. And heard new things and reasons to love it at 20. And hear new things now. Never, ever feel like you have to wait until you develop some expertise to listen to anything. Music will grow with you and it has the layers to show you something different whatever your knowledge level is.

 

What happens when someone in your friend feed posts in the prestigious or supporter forums but you're not at that access level? Does it just not show up? Is that a dumb question lol?

 

To add to this what happens when someone not prestigious is tagged?

 

I hate the Beatles, but, given all that has gone on, I would like to say I have affection for all of you.

My friend's adoption stuff finally went through. He adopted a 10 yr old boy with cerebral palsy. My friend is a saint and he goes above and beyond to help people. I really admire him.

 

Just got back online after stepping away for two hours to get some stuff done around the house... seems I missed a helluva lot.

I've spent all day listening to Tori Amos while waiting for my internet to be turned back on from maintenance work.
