Oliver had a pretty awful first half for the most part, there's no defending some decisions the ref makes. That Rojo challenge was a shocker and he fucked it completely. I suppose maybe the argument could be made that his sight was impaired but bloody hell you could see Rojo take off from space.

 

You'd have to ask what he based the booking on though, if he couldn't see it well enough to see he had both feet off the ground.

 

I've just found a clip of it. I hadn't realised just how high an angle he came in from. It's more an air strike than a tackle.

 

I presume the booking was given because it looked like Gueye won the ball.

 

the Carolina Railhawks of NASL have rebranded as North Carolina FC and will be pursing a NWSL and MLS bid

 

They'll obviously get a NWSL team before an MLS team, but a Carolinas based MLS team would be pretty good, cover that gap between DC and Atlanta.

 

I kinda liked the Railhawks name

The standard FC names are nice, classy, and the brandings are typically aesthetically pleasing and clean.....but I do like a LITTLE personality.


I've flip flopped on the FC/SC vs. Mascot/Nickname argument so many times. But right now I wish they would have kept Railhawks.

 

Flipping back and forth between Atletico/Bayern and Celtic/City and have managed to miss anything of note in both games thus far.

You just need to use two screens. I have Bayern-Atletico on the TV and the simulcast of all games on the laptop. This way I can focus on the Bayern game but don't miss the goals in the other games.
