I am leaning towards getting it because I haven't purchased a new game in ages; all I do atm is switch between TLOU and MGS5.

Anyone else ITT a Shadow Of The Colossus mega fan though? I first played it in my last year of university where classes had all finished and there was a period where is was isolated & alone for 5 to 6 weeks - the feelings of isolation the game provokes were weirdly complimentary to my feelings at the time. Getting my grip strength strong enough to climb to the secret garden/the huge bridge was my best achievement!

 

Do it!!!

SOTC is such an incredible game I feel like everyone should play it. If this game is anywhere close to that I'll be happy.

Not exactly the same, but i really enjoyed (YEAH YEAH I KNOW, Ubi$hill) Trials Fusion. (Also a really good soundtrack, again, haha).

It was definitely my surprise hit of the year.

 

I've been having a great time with the mutliplayer and free maps means the player base won't be split in a month, which is great.

 

Finally finished Uncharted 4 tonight.

P.P.S. I wish you could still download P.T. - my brother has it on his PS4 and I'm very jealous. I remember when I completed it for the first time and I was just shouting swears into the microphone in order to get the phone to ring

 

The Konami hate is so misguided though, we only know one side of the story and, from a business perspective, they did what they had to do

 

Nah Konami still sucks, Silent Hills would have sold buckets.

My favorite person who talks about video games. He has a weekly 10 minute youtube show and ever since the PT debacle he's had a post credit feature on a whole bunch of episodes called Fuck Konami, where he talks about a whole bunch more reasons that they are the fucking worst than the Kojima bullshit. He even sells Fuck Konami shirts in his online shop, ha

 

Well yeah they seem to be a pretty shitty company, but the whole Kojima thing is simply not the problem. If anything, Kojima supported and even profited from some of their bad practices (apparently unless his or her name is Kojima, a developer was being treated very badly at Konami), as long as they paid for his ambitious video games.

 

That would be awesome, but I think we should wait until after Christmas, because it seems to me that some of use will catch up on some games during the break

 

I'm a huge MGS fan and really wanted some sort of resolution to the Eli/Sahelanthropus storyline in MGS5 that wasn't just "they've disappeared", and, IF (and that's a big if) Konami are the ones that forced the cancellation/removal of Mission 51 and/or chapter 3 then fuck 'em!

 

My Game of the Year right now. So fantastic.
