at least with games like The Witcher you have a quest journal and tracking and everything. forgetting where I was used to be the bane of my existence back in the day playing Final Fantasy VI and shit. you'd just boot up in some village and be like "welp, guess I'm just gonna talk to some random townspeople and hope they say something relevant."

 

i expected this but i think im still gonna grab it, looks fun regardless

 

FFXV gives me heavy witcher vibes without being anywhere near as good.

I had relatively low expectations, but I'm just not enjoying it at all.

 

I've been loving FFXV. I'm on chapter 4 I think but I've been so distracted by all the side quests.

 

i picked out the video games im getting for christmas; watch dogs 2, ffxv, and pokemon moon. gonna pick up steep with whatever money i get, i also told my girlfriend to get me a steam gift card so i can grab either civ 6 or eu4

 

I think I'm generally done picking up games for the year unless some crazy deals happen or I see some clearance games I want.

I'm going to focus right now on just Sleeping Dogs/Smite and than once Overwatch Christmas event starts I'll spend all my time on that.

oh and I'll probably get Stardew Valley.

 

Stardew is great, definitely in my top ten.

 

Getting more and more excited for this. I want it now.

 

Playing more of The Witcher, I'm definitely enjoying it a bit more. The Arkham style approach is really neat. The controls feel a bit clunky for me when it comes to battle and walking in general. I've always wandered into places with enemies way stronger than me too many times.

 

I'm getting Gears 4, Dishonored 2 and Steep. I already bought all three of them though, because Gears and Dishonored 2 were 25€ and 35€ during Black Friday and Steep had a launch sale, haha.

 

I'm getting Stardew Valley for Switch, it's the platforms that seems to be the best fit for the game to me

Feeling justified in my Pro purchase because how much better it runs on the Pro compared to OG PS4.

 

my biggest complaint with w3 is definitely the controls. walking, combat and especially horse riding, are so fucking uncomfortable. but, the world and story more than make up for it. i can put up with subpar combat if the immersion is there.

now where's the spyro remaster

 

It's not the best playing game but it has such an immersive world, wonderful writing and truly interesting quests. I just want to explore every last inch of it and squeeze every bit of lore I can from the game. The gameplay is serviceable but it's not why I adore it.

It should def get the Rachet & Clank treatment. Not a remaster.

 

I played the tutorial of Witcher 2 and I was like ok this cool. I said I would come back to it and I've yet to play it again.

I'm just so bad at starting and finishing games.

I'm cool with that. Not crazy about Jak 1, but 2 and 3 would be great on PS4

 

I remember buying Jak and Daxter without and idea of what it was when I was a kid, and I am so happy that I got into that series

I'd probably cry if I played a remastered Spyro 1-3
