@EntryLevelDave Not even a Boston fan, and that was one of my favorite series' to watch.

 

It was so good. It honestly is the only thing that could possibly rival 2004 for me. The fact that Ortiz hit like .750 and there was still discussion over the MVP tells you how good that team was.

I was just joking. Tried to throw a kissy smiley via mobile at the end but it failed. Just being bitter after the loss. Feels like we haven't won on OD in a while. Definitely don't think we need threads for specific teams but if that's what other people want I'm cool with it.

It really is, him and Pedroia are my favorite players. It will be hard with him gone. The last left of the 04 team.

Lindor will be better but Correa will still win MVP

 

Roogy for MVP. Very underrated player that was just as good as Correa last year.

This is exactly how I feel. Pedroia is like the heart and soul of the team. I wouldn't be able to cope with it if he got traded

 

Ryan Dempster should come out of retirement to try and hit him again.

 

I usually hate when people get hit intentionally... But that was amazing.

 

I hate it too, but that was hilarious because it took him like 4 attempts.

 

Important lesson for kids. Persistence.

I hate A-rod and I hate people getting hit intentionally or not. I also did not really like Dempster a whole lot. I shouldn't have said it was amazing. That totally encourages a negative environment.

 

Put it in the books! First win of the season! Great showing in Familia's first appearance as well.
