Last time AFI played a Philly club it was the TLA I believe, which I found a bit small for them. Hopefully its at the Factory or Fillmore this time.

What size venues did AFI play at their peak?

oh my god, I'm back on my bullshit Prestigious

Decemberunderground got to number 1 so I'm guessing they played some pretty big venues.

They were apart of Live Earth at Giants Stadium in 07 so I think that was probably their biggest show. In terms of headliners, they played Roseland Ballroom in NYC twice during the December underground tour and I believe sold it out. Capacity was 3500 I believe so I'm guessing they were playing between 3-5k places. This tour should be between 2-3k.

Im thinking thats a bit of an overshoot, last album cycle they were in 1000-1500 places in most markets. NYC, LA, Chicago are obviously a different cases.

    Hey. Supporter

They headlined Long Beach Arena for their DVD filming in 07, which has a cap of 4500.

I think they'll shoot for the moon on this cycle. Burials had a shit opening with 25k (after dropping from 52k with Crash Love). There seems like a lot more promotion on this rather than Burials in my opinion.

Ok so that's still in the 3000-5000 cap places they played at their peak.

Oh yeah, oh yeah, everything is terrible.

feel like the 10th or 13th could be Toronto; have to assume there'll be a date in there anyways

I hope this is a tour, and I hope this tour hits Bled Fest.

Patent Pending said they'd be touring again in the spring. Joe said he wasn't sure if they'd be headlining or supporting.

Cover Your Tracks have an announcement on Monday. Any guesses? Seems too early for The Color Morale to announce their headliner.

Isn't All Stars supposed to be announced this month? Other than that, I can see them on a support tour obviously.

I completly forgot about All Stars since I all but gave up on them due to their lack of professionalism with communication with people. Was there an announcement from them recently about announcing soon?

I don't know, I think someone here mentioned that they said somewhere that it would be announced this month.

Anyone else bummed that Atreyu / Motionless in White tour never turned out to be anything?

Yeah, considering I am the one who spoiled it. They were booking venues and the sizes were around 1000. Maybe Spring?

Atreyu had mentioned recently they were writing a new album for 2017. Maybe the tour will happen around the new cycle.

Considering what they did instead yes. A MIW/Issues co-headliner would have been cool too with like Cane Hill or Volumes would have been cool. FIR is just such a downer of what could have been.

Wasn't NFG supposed to do a tour with Bayside? I want to see NFG tour with some new bands. Knuckle Puck or Forever Came Calling?

That was Say Anything who were suppose to tour with Bayside. NFG are on a different headliner.
