I'm currently listening to Red Friday and I love it. YG and Mustard are really at their best together.

J Cole "dissing" Kanye West is funny especially since the only reason Cole got famous was for copying Kanye College Dropout style for multiple albums now.

 

1. His albums do not sound like College Dropout 2. Part of the reason College Droput was so well received at the time is because it was reminiscent of soulful producers that came before Kanye, like Pete Rock.

And that's not even defending Cole.

I promised my students that I'd give FHD another try. Once again, doesn't sit right to completely dismantle the dude/his fanbase. A ton of kids look up to him/respect him/blah blah blah you get it. He's important to a lot of my kids so I can't shit on him for that.
With that being said, his song about Ye is in poor taste if it truly is about Ye

 

I like(d) Cole for a long time but the last album was really bad, features are bad and these new diss tracks are bad.

 

I only did it bc I fuck with his verse on Surf really hard. Nothing else has ever been good.

 

I still really enjoy his verse on this and this mixtape got me hyped on him for a bit.

 

Warm Up and FNL were cool and his last album had some good songs

And he is a very good performer

 

I will never forgive Cole for what he did to Planez..
