Patent Pending is releasing a holiday EP that they will be selling on their holiday tour. I'll have to pick it up when I see them Saturday!

Any idea what As It Is will be doing in 2017? Opening for State Champs? Warped Tour? I am liking their new songs.

I'm guessing they will be back on Warped this year. Haven't really been following their new stuff.

Christian McAlhaney said this about a possible Anberlin reunion.

Reunions are all the rage right now. It seems like everyone is doing an anniversary of this, that, and the other thing. So-and-so has reunited and is touring again. I love it. I totally back it, as I am in the thick of it right now with Acceptance — and would one day hope the same for Anberlin. My wish for fans, and even other musicians, is to understand the true motivations behind the “whys.” It’s OK for things to end. It’s OK to start over. Life is a series of beginnings and endings. Life is a process. It’s a lifelong metamorphosis ’til death and then beyond. Why not embrace and enjoy every bit of it?

Anyone have any details on the We The Kings announcement tomorrow? Safe to say it's a 10 year tour but anyone know the openers or how large it is?

I'm sure it'll be fairly big. For some reason, they're still playing at 1200-2000 person venues.

I'm hoping they take The (recently reunited) Friday Night Boys out with them. They're both on So What? so I'm hoping it's not just coincidental.

Also, probably larger than they've been doing. Their last headliner hit about 500 cap venues, and only a couple of dates sold out. I'd guess around 1000 - 1500 or so cap for this run. Since they're playing the ST in full, it'd definitely rope in the people who stopped caring about them, but nostalgia can only do so much, especially with the other mid-to-late 00's pop punk bands doing 10 year tours next year.

However, I'm not sure if a bunch of the "new wave" of WTK fans will go. Most of them only started listening to them because of the Youtube fame of Charles Trippy, so this is kind of "before their time," I guess.

I would absolutely love The Friday Night Boys, but I remember reading that So What is a "one time reunion" for them. FTSK seems realistic though!

Yeah their bassist is one of the better-known Vloggers on Youtube (his channel is CTFxC) - don't really know what he does on the site or why he's so famous from it lol. When he joined WTK in like 2012, they gained a ton of fans who just followed him over from Youtube. A majority of their current fans (probably a solid 80%) only started listening to WTK when he joined.

It's absolutely wild. If you ever see WTK, you'll see hundreds of people wearing merch associated with his Youtube Channel.

They're doing a 10 year anniversary tour of the one album that some people kinda cared about 10 years ago.

    music is all we got

Saw someone on twitter say that the State Champs headliner is with Against the Current and With Confidence. If that's true, I guess my prediction was 100% correct haha.

Also has anyone heard more about the Real Friends headliner? I'm dying for some info.
