I never got into The Witcher 3 because I can't stand the combat in it, but I'm a huge fan of other Western RPGs (The Elder Scrolls, the Bethesda Fallout games, Dragon Age, etc.) so for me this is just the perfect blend of my first love (JRPGs) and those more recent loves.

 

Can I leave work and go play more please? Lol

 

i just had a random 5-10 minute conversation with Prompto about his internal anxieties while at a motel. Moments like this breadth so much life into these characters. This game is perfect.

 

yup, I got this too earlier today.

 

Prompto conversation about him having a crush on Cindy is adorable.

 

i think Prompto is my spirit animal. i love this guy

 

i'm going through DA Inquisition (level 11 + 40 hours in) right now, and I spent 120 hours on Skyrim haha.

Are you all playing on active or wait combat? It seems in wait mode you can scan enemies for weaknesses, is there a way to do that in active? This game really doesn't teach you shit haha

 

I play on wait. As far as I know, you can't scan in active with the exception of Ignis doing it sometimes if you unlock that ability

 

In active mode you can, I just haven't figured out what I've been pushing to do it hahaha

played a solid 6 hours in active, then switched to wait. Wait is a lot more enjoyable I find.

 

I'm kinda glad they didn't teach much though, it sedates all the people who complained about FFXIII and FFX being too hand holding or whatever

 

anyone know of a way to get a Sturdy Helixhorn without doing that one hunt over and over again hoping the Duplicorn drops it? Did that hunt 3 times now, always focusing on attacking its head, and its yet to drop it.

 

I'm just pressing the attack button like crazy in hopes I kill someone.

 

So my 1tb external hd for Xbox has about 44% used up right now. How much space would FFXV take? I feel like I might need to get another one just for the game lol

 

I like wait for scanning. Seems like Ignis scans things himself but it's not really consistent, or at least I can't tell if there's anything that causes it.

 

I believe it's between 50 and 60 GB? I believe you'll be okay.

 

There isn't a bestiary hidden anywhere in the menus is there? I'd like to study weaknesses outside of combat but that doesn't seem possible.

 

my download was at 56 gb for physical and that's including the update.

I was running around during night because I'm a dummy. I ran into a Iron Giant level 30 while I was level 5.

It's safe to say my escape failed hard.

 

Such a great game. Literally the perfect response to the criticisms of the second one.

 

I ran into that and a bunch of bombs. Got fucked up real quick
