Atletico did well to keep it to 2 goals conceded. With that away goal, I think Atletico can totally do this back in Madrid. I wouldn't claim to be confident, but in the last two matches between them, they've been the better team before getting stupid sending offs. Maybe Burgos & Simeone get the players too pumped before these games?

 

Rangers get promotion back to the Scottish Premiership after being demoted to the 4th tier in 2012. Competition back in the top flight and the return of old firm games. Including one in 2 weeks in the Cup semi.

 

FC Cinci have sold 10k tickets for their home opener. That's pretty awesome.

Yeah it's great to have the Old Firm back in the league, though the rivalry is pretty one-sided at this point. Celtic easily dominate Scotland.

I mean it would be kind of cool if Scottish football was competitive in Europe again, but oh well. Because Rangers time away from the league has seen it line up with Celtic being mediocre on the big stage.

The Old Firm is dead and not something to be missed

Rangers didn't go down, they got liquidated and a new club took the place they vacated in the league system

Nothing about this is good for Scottish football, this rivalry coupled with the SNP's criminalisation of fans in Scotland means that a few lives will get ruined every year

They'll be lucky to finish fourth next year too

 

Scottish teams would need a LOT of money to be competitive in Europe.

 

The Scottish game is pretty much hopeless and run by complete and utter clowns who somehow manage to undervalue a pretty worthless product when doing TV deals

 

Rangers will finish at least 2nd in their first season back, pretty confident about that. 3rd at worst.

Clearly a fan of another Scottish club who hates Rangers. Been playing some of the best football in Scotland this season, in the semi final of the Scottish Cup and are due to add around 6 new players in the summer and can attract players who will come to compete for the title and Europe.
