Not to shatter dreams on being anomalies here, but that's something I've noticed of quite a few people who want that but they just don't realize they can be straight up with people, especially when just starting off with someone.

I've only recently noticed success with being straight up myself, and it was kinda nerve wrecking since the norm seems to be playing things out a certain way.
