Glad to hear it, was worried there would be some big backstory with there being so many games.

 

Played five hours of FF15...It's great. I'm just now starting to get good at the combat and it feels very satisfying.

 

I just sent away my third broken Xbox within three weeks, haha

 

Yay, finally back home and able to play BF1!

Nope, flew in about 11:40pm last night and had to work, so I'm not sure if I'll start tonight or wait till weekend to REALLY get into it.

Will probably start it tonight. Super stoked.

is a vita worth buying?

As a huge Vita fan, I will always recommend it. However, that comes with the stipulation that Sony has all but stopped supporting it, especially in the USA, so if you're looking for a handheld with as much support as the 3DS, the Vita is nothing of the sort. It is, however, a great handheld with a huge, beautiful screen (get the original Vita, not the second/smaller release!) and a really interesting library. Great indies and one of the biggest selections of Japanese niche titles (JRPGs, visual novels, other weird stuff). That and access to the PSP and PSX library via PSN Store - it's great being able to play old favorites on the go. I wish Sony gave it more support! Plus you can probably get one mega cheap now, which makes it doubly worthwhile.

 

If you're into JRPGs and visual novels, as well as old PS1 games, then without a doubt it's worth buying.

Just making a joke hah, I have no actual opinion on the vita outside of the fact you can play persona 4 golden there, which is a good game.

yeah it's basically a jrpg/ps1 classic machine at this point, so if that sounds good to you, definitely grab one. I still get a decent amount of playing out of mine

Basically how I feel about Final Fantasy. I understand we all have different tastes, but man there's not one thing that gets me excited about that game.
