the ships have all sailed to the sea

I don't really skip anything. I find each song enjoyable enough to warrant a listen.

Most songs are still good, a handful are fantastic but as a whole record I don't love this nearly as much as the first month it was out

San Diego. When I first heard it I thought it was ok but the more I listened to it, the more I liked it. Top 3 or 4 song on the album for me.

Less, none that come to the mind. The ones I didn't care for I still don't. I'm not a huge fan of California, Teenage Satellites or The Only Thing That Matters.

    Charts:

SOOHM is up to #8 on the Alternative Songs list. Steadily moving up, so that's good.
California jumped back on the Billboard 200 at 192.

I believe billboard.com updates their lists tomorrow. Hopefully SOOHM continues to move up.

It's Friday Night, lets lose our minds = the stars and night are big and bright.

Gets me everytime the song comes on.

  10. This never occurred to me until now lol.

Yep I seem to skip that middle lull of Home, Kings, teen as well and pick up back into left alone

I've been hearing it 3x a day on AUS radio and promo snippets as well with Mark announcing the song

  13. It's easily the worst stretch of the record in my opinion. Those three songs keep me from calling it a great record.

I had to google that. I have no idea what that song is. But I'm guessing it's a sentimental old country diddy for you yanks like "waltzing matila" "true blue" and "kookaburra sits on the old gumtree" is for Australians

It's like some sort of state pride song for Texas, or something. The rest of the country just knows it cause it's appeared in movies and sports games by now I think. Blink closed with it on their tour at the show in Texas.

    Ah thanks.
And PS. I got autocorrected to sissy but meant diddy! I hope I don't have the state of Texas after me now. I'll fix it up haha

Terrible you didn't list "I won't Be Home for Christmas" first or at all....

I can't believe I've seen I Won't Be Home For Christmas live before

But I've also seen lots of rare songs live from them. Everybody, what's the coolest/rarest track you've heard them play live?

Really hope they play I Won't Be Home for Christmas at these upcoming holiday gigs.

Seeing them at almost acoustic christmas, but I've already seen them twice this year and the sets were practically identical. If I get the sense that I'll be getting more of the same I may beat the traffic and bail on their set.

I'd sit through the same set twice back to back on the same night if I could

Shame on me. I must offer up some angels and airwaves albums to the flames as sacrifice to the blink gods for penance.
