One of the worst episodes of the series. God, that was tough to sit through.

How do you have that many people with guns shooting at one person at close range and not hit them. Holy shit that scene was terrible.

"We tried to fight back [against the Saviors]" *Can't kill one unarmed person when you have several people surrounding them with guns multiple times

I mean it would be more believable if they even just clipped her in the shoulder/arm, but to not hit her at all? How that community has even survived thus far is shocking.

Episodes was absolutely fine as an episode. But yes, that's like the 5th slow one in a row. Quite the world they've set up now. The show has completely reinvented itself. Gone from nothing to what, 5 significant communities now? Sure it's slow but it's necessary for the long term growth of the story.

I liked this one lol! But I'm also the one person who cares about Heath. I thought Tara was charming. i thought the lil coast girl that saved tara was cool too, and i'd totally live in a creepy hidden coast comm as long as they practiced shooting first. the show has gotten so depressing with negan. it was nice having tara's humor and her lil jaunty sunglass walk instead of all depressing all the time. Unless we count Carl and Enid skating in the streets which was just embarrassing lmao. I enjoyed it more than the other bottle eps. I'm bored with negan's showboating and how he delivers every line with a smile but then YELLS THE LAST PART OF THE SENTENCE.

They just added all these character traits to Tara that she didn't have before which was weird.

Kind of like they made Jesus ultra protective of Maggie and Sasha despite no real previous interactions before last week's episode...This show is losing it. Fast.

It's almost like the writers are also forgetting who's who. Haha.

I must now go to the source Supporter

I'm ready for them to go back to multiple narratives per episode. We're six episodes in and so far:

Rick: 2 full episodes plus like a minute of screen time at the beginning of the fifth.
    Michonne: Same as Rick
    Carol: one episode
    Morgan: One episode
Daryl: Three episodes but he's literally only had two lines, one of them being his own name.
    Maggie: Two episodes
    Sasha: Two episodes
    Rosita: Two episodes
    Aaron: He's had lines, right?
    Jesus: One episode
    Tara: One episode
    Heath: Bye, Heath
Eugene: Two episodes, maybe like two lines?
Ezekiel: New character introduced in the second episode along with an entirely new community of people that we have neither seen or heard from since.

At this point we have now spent more time with Carl than anyone else this season. That's a problem. I feel very disconnected to anything going on. I get they want to display Negan in full power, but you don't have to sacrifice character development and plot momentum to do so. According to the Walking Dead timeline it's been like four or five days total since the premiere. This needs to come together quickly. There are only two episodes left until they take another two month break. Not great.

So I'm guessing since Tara was able to walk home before Heath could drive home that either something happened to him or he just peaced out. Wonder if he will show up again. Probably at just the right time to save somebody's life down the road.

Some of you people over exaggerate immensely, and clearly ask for too much. But, Tara was completely unbelievable in this episode and her walking up to the gates oddly happy, and with corny bright sunglasses on made me cringe.

Pretty much the entire episode made me cringe. Her joking around when guns are pointed at her, her joking around when she's handcuffed to the furnace. Get real.

However, the ultimate worst moment of the episode is the community trying to kill her the entire episode and then the one lady - having a chance to easily kill her point blank at the end- just says 'swear you won't come back here. you need to SWEAR!!!!' as if that means anything. Then not only does the woman let her go, she all of a sudden becomes a super sniper to kill all the walkers as Tara runs off - yet no one could hit her earlier in the episode.

    Just laughable all around.

Honestly the only thing I liked about the episode is that the beach camp reminded me of LOST

There's a difference between shooting slow moving zombies from a prone position than shooting a moving target through the woods while you yourself are probably moving. Plus the girl helping her at the end was never shooting her earlier.

    Lol IGN gave last week's episode a "good" 7.4 and yesterday's a "good" 7.2

For anyone wondering if IGN should be taken seriously

I don't feel like it's too much to ask to revisit multiple characters in a single episode. You don't have to force everyone in, but I mean, I don't really even remember where we leave off with people because you only see them once and then they don't return for weeks (I do not remember the last time we had seen Heath before this episode). It's so hard to feel connected to certain characters anymore because they have one focused episode then disappear.

On talking dead they said that Tara hadn't been seen in 9 episodes. Lol

It was the same time as the last time we saw Tara. It was the saviour massacre episode where they killed them all in their sleep. there was some pretty big Heath and Glenn stuff in it

I remember that now. But yeah like the post above said, they hadn't been around for nine episodes. It's kind of like, "oh yeah, those people..." when they show up again.

That should be the last of the stand-alone / filler bottle episodes for this season.

Wasn't the one lady at the end the one who tried to save her the entire ep? idk why that's weird. she wanted her to live and had no intention of killing her. She was a bit naive with the "swear!" Stuff but it wasn't out of character at least with the lil bits of her we got to know. It seems like she doesnt agree with what the rest of her community believes about shooting everyone they come across. she also didn't randomly become a super sniper. they mentioned beforehand that she was a good shot.
