I can't get into Dead Rising because of the time limits, so I'm actually interested in the new one.

 

I see what you mean by a bad rehash haha, but I believe it brought enough new stuff to it to make it stand out, especially when it came to the combo weapons, man they were fun. Love both games though and yeah DR1 is fine on its own but I always like imagining what it would be like if you had a mate with you playing it and the possibilities.

Might dig out my Xbox 360 tonight and give DR1 another go, always had a great story/characters and more memorable psychopaths.

 

DR3 was very loose with its time limits I think, so that still may be up your alley. I know they had a nightmare mode you unlock after the first playthrough which meant you could play with time limits.

 

played and beat OVERCOOKED in one 5 hour sitting with my brother, 3 star'd every level. One of the best couch co-op experiences i've had with a game in a long time.

FFXV reviews starting to come out.

 

Good to see so many positive reviews. Tabata and his team worked their asses off, and it looks like it paid off.

FFXV looks pretty awesome! Not a day one purchase for me, but I'll pick it up eventually. Man I just really wish they announce a HD remaster of the first Xenoblade Chronicles for the Switch. Easily my favorite JRPG of the last 15 years

 

I'm hoping FFIV comes to the Switch. I would like to play it off TV.

 

I would absolutely love a remaster of Xenoblade Chronicles. Loved that game, but never finished it. Kinda hard on the eyes after awhile. Actually downloaded a Dolphin patch to emulate it -- someone redid all the textures to make it look more like a PS3 game and run at true 1080p. Not bad, but Dolphin was still running a bit shaky when I first tried it so may have to give it a go again.

Xenoblade Chronicles X is a different story. I try every few months to get back into it but I feel more and more lost every time. Love it in concept and have fun every time I play it, just feel like I'm never doing anything of consequence.

 

151 itch.io games for $20. 100% of proceeds go to Planned Parenthood and the ACLU. Some real gems in here including Panoramical, Gone Home, Proteus and Read Only Memories. Lots of crazy, weird, experimental games too that I can't wait to sit down with.

I need to pinch myself and think of my back catalogue every time I think of how much I want to grab FFXV. I just neeeeeeed it

 

i think FF15 might be the most excited ive ever been for a video game.

 

I'm impressed that it's scoring so well. I've never played a Final Fantasy game, and I've been gaming for 25 years. PlayStation was my first "new" console back in the day.

 

A little surprised it's scoring so well, I kind of pegged it for a high-70s, low-80s, though there's obviously the chance that it slips that low with more reviews.

Either way, very very excited. ELEVEN HOURS!

 

my brother wants the game just because he says it looks like an anime and it looks fun.

I am now buying it for him tomorrow so I'm excited to try it out.
