Everything Must Go is one of the only TBS songs that have held up for me.

 

I dreamt about Flicker, Fade last night despite not listening to it since that album came out. My dream self was going on and on about how good that song is and damn was he right, that song is fantastic

 

New Again and the new one are sorta okay, the rest are bad

 

I don't like anything that much after Louder Now. Have no interest in listening to anything new tbh - barely got three songs into it.

I like Senses Fail - I think they're pretty underrated in terms of scene bands haha.

 

I think a lot of that music is stuff you hear at a vulnerable place/age and connect and if you don't you probably just aren't going to.

 

the Priest and the Matador grew on me a lot. SF is a little too angsty for me but they make pretty enjoyable catchy hard pop punk

 

first TBS album is bad bad to my ears

 

I don't listen to tbs at all anymore I just kinda hate them in general

 

I used to not really care much about TBS at all aside from Cute Without the E and MakeDamnSure until one day a friend randomly had them on in the car and it all just clicked. The only album I would say I don't listen to regularly is New Again, but in part that probably has to do with me recently starting to like the band and just gravitating towards the other ones first.

 

All the bands above got waaaayyy better the longer they went on. Esp TBS and Senses Fail.

 

It seems strange to me to say that a band has "only" 3 albums that you like. 3 albums that you like is a lot!

TBS may actually be the most polarizing band on this website. In general you either love em or you think they're awful

 

Hot take: I think TBS are just okay. Not terrible, not great. I do lol when people make fun of their lyrics tho

 

WYWTB is great, Louder Now is pretty good, rest is really bad.

I don't really even listen to those two anymore though. The TBS guys seem kinda shitty

 

Also, just cause 21 pilots gets mentioned a lot in this thread, I was perusing the hot topic shirt sale and was lamenting my oldness cause there were like 1000 21 pilots shirts and like none from bands I like and my older sis started getting super defensive and asking if I've even heard all their songs like sis if I've heard like 5 and hate them all why would I delve deeper? I'd rather spend my time checking out stuff from artists I like or have heard are awesome

 

In The Wake Of Determination is the best SOTY album.

Also have never really gotten into any JEW post-Futures. Absolutely love everything up to that. Still listenable. Besides Invented. Can't listen to that.

TAYF, WYWTB and Tidal Wave are great. Louder Now and Happiness Is are mostly good. Self titled is hit and miss. New Again has a very good 4 song EP in there somewhere.

 

I dunno. Looks like some people in here already admitted to enjoying some albums but not others

 

1 21 Pilots song is enough, too much actually

I wonder if that was true of older scene kids too, like in 2004 "why all these My Chemical Romance shirts where's the Promise Ring shirts?"
