It wasn't as bad as "Daryl and Carol stroll around Atlanta" and "Daryl and Beth chill in a cabin" so that's a little harsh lol.

From what I can remember, he wasn't that bad in S6. From the small bit I saw on Talking Dead he was pretty bad as well.

this episode was also very bad. getting to the point where ill abandon this again if it doesnt pick up. i ditched it around S3 but came back when the terminus arc got positive reception, figuring that could be a fresh start for the show.

With Coral and Jesus jumping into the truck to head to Negan's hood, it seems like things are about to finally pick up again, where things actually start to happen.

The Maggie and Steven Ogg parts were enough to not be worst ever for me. He's right about everything else, I just don't think seriously enough about the show at this point to dissect things that much lol

I felt Jesus' poor acting was very obvious this week. I really haven't noticed it much before, I guess because they haven't asked much of him yet.

His flying jump kicks were a good laugh though.

Probably the only redeeming part of the episode, haha

I'm just getting sick of these episodes that focus squarely on 2 or 3 characters and not the whole arc of the storyline anymore. It was fine to do in the earlier seasons to really get a feel for character/story development, but now there are way too many characters on this show and too many storylines that it's starting to make me not care at all.

This episode was real bad and boring. Too many characters split up into too many locations now.

I agree. I remember some people saying that they enjoyed that it wasn't like Game of Thrones where you only get pieces of each person's story each episode... I don't think I agree. Too many times does it focus only on one character and then not return to their story for multiple episodes. It makes me forget about people.

Last season was particularly bad about that where it would leave you with a "cliffhanger" and then not address it again for a few episodes.

All I know is that shit is about to go down starting next episode, with Carl and Jesus heading to Negan's hood, so things should finally start to get interesting

I like Jesus a lot, but the whole dad vibe he has going on with the hilltop leader and being a martyr are underwhelming for a character that last season seemed like a bad ass.

Agree on the last few points.
I have hung in for 7 Seasons on the basis that when things get wild, they get properly wild.

When new characters get introduced and we have to learn their whole backstory, I get frustrated and tune out.

Well unfortunately that will have to wait until episode 7 because this Sunday's episode is wholly focused on Tara.
