I think I sunk something like 10 hours into Skyrim yesterday. I'm so enjoying delving back into that world again after not playing it for years.

 

Just bought Grow Up and Wolfenstein New Order in the Xbox Live sale for like 12€. Too bad I won't get to play them for a whole since the new Xbox Microsoft sent me is broken

 

27 hours into Watch_Dogs 2. Story - much more cohesive and consistent. Nothing special but hardly terrible either. Still upset over the death of Horatio tho. But that made DedSec take a turn I thought they wouldn't. They don't seem to have some strict moral code or anything, and there was a point where Josh and Marcus talked about the hypocrisy of the technology and hacking and how it's being used. So they're self-aware at least.

The side missions fit right in too. They make sense and feel like they're a part of the story, not just random "do this or do that for 30-40 times" like in the previous game with no purpose. Each 'side operation' is its own thing and some of them are longer than others. That's one of the biggest improvements for sure. Along with more narration and communication between the characters, and that includes in the side missions as well. They're explained, and it feels rewarding to complete them.

So everything here makes a lot more sense and feels more believable.

It's a bonus that San Fran looks so bright and lively, and it's nice to explore. Every day I play I feel like completely changing Marcus' outfit.

This is the most fun I've had all year honestly, and it came at the right time.

I finally got the drone yesterday. May help out with the side missions I'm currently stuck on.

 

I don't know if it will improve Overwatch or not, but it will definitely improve your download speeds for sure since the wireless network card in the PS4 is pretty bad.

Life is Strange is incredibly charming. choice-heavy narrative games - at least, the small handful i've played - never seem to emotionally engage me as much as they do other players - not sure where this will go, but i love the mash up feelings of Gone Home and Twin Peaks.

 

Wow hoops on rocket league is insane fun

 

just got Forza Horizon 3... It's pretty sweet, one of the better arcade racers in a few years.

 

I think I might boot up my laptop to get Genital Jousting on Steam. Game looks like a real good time.

 

Just picked up Headlander and Telltale's Batman...

Anyone play Overcooked? Thinking of getting it for the wife and I to play together

 

Who plays CK2? I swear I was able to play as the Mongols until recently but now you need the Horse Lord DLC, which I do not have.

 

I'm loving Telltale's Batman so far. I haven't played Overcooked but I've heard the Kinda Funny Games people talk about it a bunch, it sounds like a lot of fun especially for multiplayer

 

Overcooked looks like its so good. But no one to couch co-op with.

Loving Rise of the Tomb Raider. Looks gorgeous.

Started up Skyrim remaster. Making a mage build(destruction, restoration, conjugation etc.). Might try out Alchemy I never really used it in my previous two playthroughs. Even on my third run this game has so much variety in how you want to play, and that's where the games strengths lie.

Haven't played the mods yet. Dl'd a few. Anyone on XB1 or PS4 know which the best ones are?

 

I really can't wait for my payday this Friday so I can get Watch Dogs 2, everyones posts in here have been killing me, it looks so fun.

 

Are you playing skyrim on XB1 or PS4 as there's a lot more mods out there for XB1. I'm on PS4 and so far I've found these fun/usefull (I've seperated them by type and added comments where they're no obvious as to what they do):

Usefull:
Ring of Increased Carryweight
Rich merchants of Skyrim
Weightless dragon bones and scales
Even better quest objectives
Faster horses
Immersive citizens - This is a mod which improves the AI of friendly NPCs in order to make them act and react like true humans in relation to their environment

Effects:
Rain and Snow FX
Lanterns of Skyrim - Adds more lit up main paths
Fallen Tree's - Adds fallen trees in natural places, like rivers canyons to make crossing them easier.

Extra Content: Both of these add missions
Forgotten Dungeons
Legendary Creatures

Cheats:
Phenderix Arcane Archery - This mod isn't so much a game breaking cheat as it still has leveling but it does have a lot of powerful arrows which you can use at your own will to take down difficult enemies if you get stuck.
Phenderix Magic Evolved - Same as above in that you still need to level up your magic to cast the more powerfull spells but it adds loads of spells that aren't in the vanilla version of the game.
