i'm writing a book, leave me alone.

    Thank you.

Good lord, Triple H has main evented 9 or 10 times out of his 20 WM matches. Christ.

Then again a handful of people have a lot of "main event" / end of the PPV card matches (Hogan and Cena of course come to mind). Seems kind of baffling / sad for all the talent and options they've had over the years.

2012 (WM 28) against The Rock was not for a title.

    A DILAPIDATED BOAT! Prestigious

A random question just popped in my mind. Sid main evented Wrestlemania twice, and Starrcade once, is a two time WWE Champion, and is a two time WCW champion, why is he not in the HoF yet? It can be argued that he wasn't very good on the mic or in the ring, but he's the only main event level guy from the WWE in the 90's i can think of that isn't in the HoF yet, besides guys still working like Taker and HHH of course, oh and Rock.

Like you said his lack of mic skills seems like a big part. Maybe the era he came out of is another reason he gets forgotten or looked over. That transitional period in the mid 90's is def not one of the company's bright spots. Either way I wouldn't be surprised if he gets in eventually. Doesn't everyone get in nowadays? Haha.

Good raw. 8/10. I really really really want them to go back to vignettes when it comes to debuting NxT guys. Hyping someone up as "they were really good on NxT" is lazy and does soooo little in actually hyping them up. A solid 3 week vignette tease is always the better direction to go.

The only thing segment that went flat was the charlotte segment. There was no reason to break kayfabe right there with Charlotte in the beginning. It should've been "me me me me" from the first word. Bleh and Natalya? We just did this.

I'm happy no Bayley. Not yet.

  8. So when is the AJ v Reigns match?

    Next week? Or at Payback?

  9. A few upsetting things from cageside...

Dean Ambrose reportedly lobbied hard for more brutal spots - both performed by and on him - and was shut down.

Shane McMahon's bruises on Raw were make-up, as he was spotted at post-Maniaparties with no marks on his face or neck.

If you ever get a chance to go to Ringside w/ Jim Ross, I'd recommend it. He's pretty funny and takes a lot of questions and is pretty honest with them.

Happy Styles got the win but not happy about the prospects of Roman retaining against him. I want some Styles matches with someone who can roll with him.

Three years ago Dolph Ziggler challenged for the WWE championship at the 2nd biggest PPV of the year.

Last night he "lost" to Baron Corbin, a guy who's never had a match on Raw before.

one-off, title feud filler guys generally don't project super well into the future. it was the fastest I've ever gone from "cool AJ won" to "damn, AJ won"

edit: side note - corbin has a cool entrance, good music, somewhat interesting gimmick, not much else. I don't know if that's enough but it's better than nothing I guess. Certainly more than guys like Ascension, Breeze, Vaudevillains etc.

Enzo is gonna do so well on the main roster
He's a better version of Road Dogg, and Road Dogg was over for way longer than he should have been

My guess is Summer Slam for the belts.

  19. Seeing Enzo pace around the ring was great, it'll be great to see him and Cass at Mania next year.

  20. So it turns out Zayn getting taken out of the match last night was to get Cesaro in it.

Wait so you mean they didn't just so happen to rush Cesaro back from injury because Sami got legit hurt?
What would I do without you guys?

Mystery is the secret ingredient Prestigious

Yeah Balor Club would have been cool. Is there anyway, they come up on Smackdown and rule over things on there? I know its not RAW but it would be main roster and it could be a way to build up Smackdown again.

I agree about the weakness of the women's title segment. I was fine with the Sasha squash match. Yeah the title picture should be fun moving forward. I am glad that they showed that those guys are your main eventers.

I hope not. I want the Styles/Jericho feud to be done. It was really good but they both need to move on.

Also, I agree with the X person is in charge thing. If you are going to advance that storyline at least show him making deals and setting things up. Like you said, we don't know which things were 'Shane's' decisions and which things weren't.
That being said, I loved the focus on the younger talent and and thought they did a great job with building new and interesting feuds.

They also had some variety in the opponents. It bothers me how big the roster is and that we see the same matches over and over.

I assumed this but it was good to have it confirmed. If you aren't going to go all the way with it, then don't have no holds barred matches and I am not really into hardcore/extreme wrestling.

I think Styles could bring the best out of Reigns. Styles will have plenty of good feuds with the likes of Owens and Zayn.

Yeah that is why I dig him. He is SO entertaining on the mic. It is awesome.

I think Styles can definitely get a good-to-great match out of Reigns. He's certainly the caliber of wrestler that Bryan was and Bryan/Reigns at the first Fastlane was a pretty solid match.

Also, I'm just as excited about Enzo & Cass as everyone. The build to a match with New Day at something like SummerSlam would be entertaining as fuck. Maybe they'll introduce Carmella to offset Xavier? Who knows.

I think Carmella debuts as a valet. Last night was just no the right time for it.

On Roman, I just find his offense sooooooo boring. The spear and Superman punch are not believable finished in any way to me.

WWE keeps treating wins and loses like they don't matter.

    They should matter.
