I get being frustrated at how our enemies stay winning and how the Dems/media/business are rushing to normalize and capitulate to MAGA, and how far in advance many of us could see much of this coming can make you feel insane. I get flippant and talk about how we “deserve” these things sometimes, but I think that’s not how i actually feel. How i feel is that we all see what’s coming down the pike, and there’s a certain amount of shame i will feel (and that i think its vital to feel) if im not involved in preparing for it/being proactive in resisting it. What risks are we willing to take, how isolated are we willing to feel, how strong is our resolve, and how will we explain it to ourselves if we watch these things happen are all reasonable questions with more meaning than “do we deserve this?”

 

It’s a good choice because the other party didn’t give us a reason to vote for them.
