I think I’ll have to slip out into Gen pop for that set

Looking at the map from last year it sounds like that would be the Subway Lounge directly facing the stage? Including a photo for reference. Now how far back would you say the bar is when equivalent to other big shows in the NYC area? Being in rear GA at MetLife? I know you know the area well.

Sounds like I'm either going to sell my ticket once the option becomes available on Ticketmaster or go full Steve Buscemi on 30 Rock while simultaneously following everyone's advice about finding a good spot to post up at in the back an act or two before Olivia.

I really should have done this research before Thursday morning passed.

This helps quite a bit. Thank you, fellow old ass!

Oh god lol. Do you consider the absolute back to be all the way where you'd stand for one of the side stages since acts would then be done performing? Or about where what appear to be trees on the map are?

Appreciate the honest feedback. When the only other acts my friends and I heard of clearly skewed young, I assumed correctly the day mostly leaned that way.

Expectations are firmly in check now for what I'll be getting into. People talking and/or singly loudly during ballads, loud singalongs during the pop punk hits, being asked to buy underage people drinks, just an okay view to somewhat avoid all those things adults generally find annoying at shows, etc.

I haven’t been to govball since it was at Randall’s so I’m not sure how the new layout is. But it 2016 I stood all the way in the back for The Strokes and The Killers and it was still a decent view. I’d say it’s the equivalent to sitting in seats by home plate for a Citi Field show. Maybe even closer. Which, if Olivia had booked Citi, those seats would probably be $300+ a ticket. So I’d say the Govball ticket was still a steal.

And the best part of standing in the back is you can slip out during the last song and avoid the 40,000 person stampede

Oakland is 8/6 so I imagine LA is around that and LA venue is Kia Forum from what I was told

I had a feeling it would be there or the Intuit Dome. Sounds like it’ll be a week or so after my birthday, so that’ll be a nice little treat

Beartooth sold out every show of both legs of their last headliners so I don't see how this doesn't do very well.

That’s not bad at all if it’s a similar view here. Just gotta try to avoid very tall people which is easier to do in GA vs somewhere like Citi Field which limits the ability to move around because of chairs for reserved seating that people don’t actually use once a high energy headliner gets on stage. Thanks for all your insight!
