Yeah unfortunately tiktok today is filled with

- actual ads or clearly sponsored stuff
- tiktok shop ads by people trying to make money
- low effort reposts from people stealing content to make money

I get that you sorta do need a creators program if you want high quality stuff and creators clearly deserve a cut of the profits for stuff they create. But it does feel social media was at it's best when it wasn't just a way for both the company running it and everyone on it to make money
