Speaking of fantasy football and analytics, something that has always stood out to me is how often people in football and fantasy football content alike will cite a player’s yards per route run as a sign of their efficiency when it’s only a small part of the story and can be heavily influenced by how many receivers are on the field and what the defense calls as opposed to just an individual player’s skill and efficiency

Y/RR is a great predictive tool for the draft. Once they're in the league it matters substantially less
