I have AEW on kind of as background noise and am VERY confused by what this women’s match is. Every 30 seconds there’s different people in the ring but just caught commentary saying this is a casino gauntlet match so now this makes much more sense lol

 

So if Megan wins this and then Atticus Cogar beats her this weekend at Hammerstein, by the laws of wrestling it has to be Atticus vs Mariah May in Australia

On a related note, I found out today Dr Redacted has an OF with his girlfriend and I find it hilarious

 

With the Grand Slam->Revolution being a short time, I can see Mariah cheating to win in Australia and Toni taking the belt back/snapping back into knowledge for the Revolution ppv

Also, its actually kayfabe in AEW, wildly, but the locker rooms are always like 2mins away. That took forever for faces to get out there

Random thought/question:

for some reason it has been on my mind for a few days now that I don’t understand why/how Goldust’s finisher was kicking someone in the balls (“Shattered Dreams”) when that almost always results in a DQ. Not that wrestling needs to make sense, but that’s bugged me for a few days for some reason lol
