Turkey and coleslaw are the last things I would order at a BBQ joint

 

There are some places that do some killer turkey but yeah I typically don't order it

Coleslaw absolutely never unless someone demands I do it at a place

I’ll do two meat tray but with brisket and pork shoulder. Maybe add a smoked sausage if they have it. Collard greens and Mac n cheese on the side, or IF they have Cajun / mustard based red-potato salad I might have that

At Hurtado they have street corn as an option and it's a perfect side

there was a Texas / Latin BBQ joint in my DC suburbs neighborhood actually called Two-fifty, they were from Texas, that shit is my jam

I would loooove brisket and a carnitas style pork shoulder with street corn and horchata
