I'm not sure what happened with Portland, but my tinfoil hat theory is that they let Isiah Thomas consult on their summer moves. Signing Festus, Meyers, and Plumlee was too much, and it only was compounded with keeping Crabbe, Harkless, and bringing in Turner. They are capped out and don't have a legit path upward. I get the clock on competing with Lillard is shorter than other players and bringing in talent is historically difficult, but it just felt a bit reckless.

 

I don't know, I think crabbes hairstyle is worth his salary alone
