Wasn’t expecting one of the loudest crowd responses to be for Monongahela Park

Agree. I think the new songs got the overall best reaction at my show aside from Just Sign the Papers

  4. Chicago show was spectacular. New songs are so great live and the crowd was awesome. There's been speculation that Dan is winding down the Aaron West project (I really hope not, obviously), but I need at least one more tour to hear "Smoking Rooms" and especially "Roman Candles" live.

Future Teens was great as always, and Maura Weaver's set was wonderful too.

He's done it a few times, mostly (I think) at the solo UK shows that "Alone At St. Luke's" is about.

Roman candles not being in the set is kind of insane

When I saw him many moons ago in Glasgow (2019) he definitely covered it then

  8. Doubly so because he's selling a "please don't steal my catalytic converter" shirt on this tour.

only just heard the vinyl alternate ending, lmao. canon imo

really it'll be sad if this is the end of the project but also feels like an excellent place to call it. my boy Aaron has been through enough and you know if there's another album he's gonna go through some shit again

They were fucking unreal last night. Best show I’ve seen in a awhile. Better live band than the wonder years. They simply must continue. I can’t have the AW20 story end here.

Dead Leaves is such a fantastic album closer to this story.

Saw something from James Gunn that his most played songs on Spotify are always the ones he’s going to incorporate into movies.

Four Year Strong and Aaron West in the Superman movie?

FYS is probably the most likely one. This is the 3rd time this year he’s referenced them.

There’s no way a FYS song will be in the movie, that’d be out of control haha

went to the Dan Campbell/Aaron West show in Dallas this weekend and had a great time, pretty decently sized crowd

Dan was running merch for himself too which was cool, I jumped in line once it got a little shorter but then he had to leave as the opener was about to come on and I was next in line, but assured us he'd come back after the show

Dan opened with the All Too Well cover, played several from Other People's Lives, 2 from the Clear Eyes Fanzine and then closed with Doors I Painted Shut. He also read from his new poetry book throughout the set.

Aaron played from everything including the entire Bittersweet EP which ruled.

I left with 15-20 ish to go as I had a 3 hour drive back home to OKC, but it was worth it for sure

He mentioned that they were only ever going to do that one pressing of Other People's Lives and he thought they were gone but that they had some returned from Australia because "that shit did not pop off down there, they did not like that record" lol

he made no mention of it but he did say that when the idea was originally conceived, more musicians were going to be involved, but it ended up just being him and Ace
