Easily the worst part of the show lol

The son starting his own oil company subplot is getting interesting, although that is moving along faster than I thought.

After four or five times watching Lost I finally got through the last season. It was so tedious at the end. It would have been nice if they could have found a way to wrap it up after 5, because I thought the time travel / Dharma stuff in the 5th season was pretty good. But the whole temple and purgatory/flash sideways stuff was not great.

 

First trailer for Mo season 2 is out, loved season 1 so I am excited to check out season 2

 

Still need to check that

I see American Primeval is out. Nice, heard good thing about it.

 

First episode of The Pitt was good. Definitely has ER dna while being it's own thing. Goriest medical show I have ever seen. I wasn't sure at first about a medical show not being tied down to the episodic structure and it being in real time, but it works. They set up some stuff in the pilot that I know it going to come back in a huge way later that troubled kid that came into the ER with his mom is definitely going to do a school shooting.

Also you know this show is accurate because in the first 5 minutes of being in this emergency room you see Filipina nurses speaking to eachother in Tagalog.

 

End of this week’s Silo episode, holy shit.

 

Wasn't as big of a reveal as I thought, haha, but very curious to see how the final episode plays out

 

Yeah, I probably overplayed it a bit there, but that booming robotic voice (which kinda sounded like Billy Crudup to my ears) scared the shit out of me because I had the TV up really loud. Felt like some sort of sentient AI (apparently the closed captions referred to it as "The Algorithm") and the idea of it controlling everything from another Silo is sort of terrifying to me.

Also, in regard to that touching moment between Solo and Nichols, I saw this posted on reddit from an interview with Steve Zahn:

"I think there was a great moment later on in Episode 10 (read: should be 9). There's a moment when I reveal something, and she goes, "I don't need that. I already have one." I remember saying, "Well, why didn't you use that thing that you had?" We were supposed to keep talking, but we didn't. It was emotional. We stopped, and we couldn't even look at each other because we were tearing up. We didn't say anything, and that's in the show."

I love that that's the take they went with. That moment got me.

 

Yeah that moment was perfect. Right in the feels!

 

Why didn't anyone tell me there was a Chip N Dale movie starring Andy Samberg and John Mulaney?!



Dale driving a human size car? Ugly Sonic cameo? This shit is amazing haha

 

Basically it is the closest thing we are ever going to get to something like a new Roger Rabbit

 

Hell, Roger Rabbit himself cameos in it! I was blown away!

 

Makes me really wish we got that Wile E. Coyote movie that Zaslav cancelled
