    yeah good okay Prestigious

the remake is amazing but kinda tough (it is a 30+ year old game after all). DQ11 is more forgiving - plus there's like a 10 hour demo you can play to see if it's your thing

I think so yeah, unless you have a DSi and can get your hands on IV. I personally wouldn’t start with 11.

EDIT: It is quite tough BUT it has an easy mode.

You think? If so then that's a huge step back in my opinion. It would have been nicer to include two versions for those who care about nicer screens.

LED tech has come a long way, plus they'll be a lot brighter than most OLEDs can get.
The last batch of rumors we got hinted at some sort of mini LED by Sharp with some quite usable dimming zones.

Nice, that's good news. I thought it was going to be some form of LCD screen to cut costs...

Well it is also because of that probably

Yeah OLEDs are crazy expensive to make from

I always thought OLED was better than mini LED? Apple has the latter now and is transitioning to the former.

I mean the current iPad literally used 2 OLED screens simultaneously to get to an acceptable brightness. Am I the only one who finds that weird?

You misunderstand me. I mean they probably also did it because it is cheaper.

Maybe the planned Switch 2 reveal by Nintendo is actually just them planting leaks. We’re in the middle of the announcement right now and didn’t even know it.

Frog Fractions 2 is absolutely the most batshit release strategy by a developer ever, and I love it.

For those who don't know, Frog Fractions 2 is hidden inside a completely different game called Glittermitten Grove, and you have to reach a specific goal in that game to unlock it.

I’m trying to finish Future Redeemed after falling off of it and it is kinda pissing me off. Lots of annoying mobs and gatekeeping with crafting. I’m too close to the end to stop now though. I have finished everything else XC1, 2 and 3 have to offer.

Anyone have/had an issue of one of their joycons staying attached to the switch? My left joycon keeps sliding out of place while I’m playing handheld.

  16. Mine does this, kind of, every once in a while. The Switch seems to think the left joycon detached when it's actually not, so I can just sleep the console, wake it up, and dismiss the controller popup. Obviously this isn't really a viable fix for playing online though.

Hmm I wonder what Samsung and LG do differently because my old Galaxy phones were bright as hell and my LG TV is also plenty bright. My Pixel isn't fantastic on a super sunny day but is perfectly fine in normal conditions

Also the LG OLEDs are famously fairly dim compared to a QLED for example.

Why are English strategy guides not really a thing anymore? I can find Japanese and Taiwanese guides with ease, but English guides are hard to find. While YT is convenient, there’s just something different about going through a guide book with artwork.

For the same reason why musicians wax nostalgic about buying albums and enjoying the artwork and liner notes.

99% of other people don't care. Sad but true, Metallica.

And even worst is that when big games get guidebooks now they’re like $30-$40. The TotK guide I saw at target on launch day was $30.

I was a full-on collector of strategy guides when I was a kid, I read them for fun... I even got them for games I didn't even have sometimes lol

I got so many guides from the back of Nintendo Power, including the Conker guide they refused to advertise and the Earthbound guide that a Wal-Mart accidentally sold separately from the game. God bless that Wal-Mart.
