This is me being a total cynical asshole here, but how very "nice guys finish last" is it that the kid who Nate Britt's family took-in was the one that ended up hitting a last-second shot that robbed their son of what will likely be his only chance at a huge, huge honor.

 

As much as the media will try to make it Be nothing UNC is a dirty program and they deserved to lose.

 

"Deserved" is a strong word to use against a team of young men who were not at the university when any of the allegations occurred.

Also, I don't understand the media quip in there. But thats likely because of your horrible syntax.

 

I always agree with this view. It's one thing to say Roy Williams deserved it, but I feel for the student-athletes who are put in that situation, then told they didn't deserve it anyways because of something they had no involvement in.

 

I disagree with this entirely. Dick Vitale was ranting about Louisville players being screwed of something they didn't deserve when that's how they got recruited. Stop acting like these kids are innocent.

I had friends who didn't even realize basketball and football players were in their class until the final and the players literally just showed their face. Didn't even bring pen or pencil to take it.

Also those practices go back almost 20 years for them and most those players came with the allegations already out there. They know full well what's coming. They wanted to play with a school with no integrity. But they were also probably advised not much will happen because it's UNC and NCAA historically had gone easy on academic infractions.

 

I would have won a weekend pass to Forecastle in Louisville had UNC won that game.
