I had a temp job at my state’s food bank and part of their mission is educating lower income people/families with smart grocery shopping tips and it was then I realized at grocery stores you have the “cost by pound/by quart/ounce etc. on the price labels and you can actually compare with similar products to see what you get most for your money.
