I call the Steelers out as they get very easily beaten to shit. I would honestly like this team more if they just sucked shit all the time but they show they can be good but they routinely just don’t bother to show up. They’re a lazy dogshit team

I mean yes they’ve had 20 winning seasons in a row but is that what you root for? Just winning seasons? Yeah a lot of fans of other teams would love to trade places with Steelers fans but it’s very dumb to act like rooting for a championship is bad.

 

I think being a fair weather fan is way more rational than vice versa

 

I mean I’m happy I’ve seen the Steelers win 2 SB’s and play in the playoffs a bunch in my lifetime. It’s not like we are some tortured fanbase lol

Two Super Bowl wins since 2000, a bunch of playoff appearances, never really being bad ever, idk I know it’s hard for me to say because I’m a fan of one of the only more fortuitous franchises in the league, but this is not a bad resume compared to basically 30 other teams in the league lol

Totally agree and that’s why fans like Mick annoys the fuck out of me. The other franchises I root for (Blazers, Mariners) are far more understandable to be super pessimistic about because the front offices do jack shit to compete and the owners don’t care. I guess that’s why I find it hard to be negative even when the Steelers annoy me lol
