I once saw Plain White Ts AND Paramore open for Straylight Run in a dive bar at Penn State. It was on Halloween. Hayley was dressed as a “hood rat” with an Afro and house nose. John wore a sombrero and poncho.

I saw Fall Out Boy open for some band back in the day and they were listed on the ticket as Fall Out Boys and Patrick was just hanging in the crowd watching the main band afterwards

I saw Patrick Sump open for Bruno Mars and Janelle Monae once and he was hanging out after the show and I went up to him and told him that he's cool but I don't like Fall Out Boy and he was very nice about it and looking back I'm like "the audacity of past Dustin" and also I like some Fall Out Boy now so joke is on me

Well, I went up to him and told him they did great and he was also very nice about it because I'm not an asshole

 

Then Laura and I went to see Fall Out Boy in Fort Worth and Patrick Stump showed up multiple hours late and I'm just now realizing it's probably because he knew I'd be there and is getting me back

 

they formed as a band in 2003-2004 so it can't be 25 years

ive had a couple of odd john nolan experiences. i stood right next to him in the pit at the brand new/dashboard show at MSG in liiiiike 2007 or 2008 and i was like i thought this dude and jesse were friends why isnt he backstage??? but then i remembered the whole thing.
