  1. I doubt this is a reliable report. And I don’t even know if he’s good. But I want this to happen for a very obvious reason lol

I’ve seen him play. He’s good, although not as good as Jurien. Would be a good squad addition though to basically any PL team.

There was a quote from Amorim in his first interview where he mentioned the necessity for the entire operating hierarchy at the club to be on the same page, so that if a player wants to kick up a fuss they’re going to be met with a unified stance. I think it’s obvious that in the years post Ferguson there’s been a lack of authoritative structure which has led to an over abundance of player power which has led to a shocking decrease in standards across the board. I think the sacking of Ashworth lends credence to how important they value maintaining a leadership team being on the same page and providing clear and concise expectations. Previous managers were forced to fight losing battles in many ways, but the fact that Amorim has such a strong operations team behind him coupled with the fact that he seems dead set on stubbornly implementing his way and committing to the cultural reset gives me hope.

They registered him using a rule that allows you to register a player in place of an injured one who is out for a minimum of half the season. In this case, Araujo.

  14. Enzo saying something worse, receiving zero punishment, and then scoring against us while Bentancur was banned. They really handled this perfectly.

Where will he even go? Serie A feels like a fit for some reason.

He should go Turkey and hook up with Jose.

Gutted that this is how it all ends. In another world where circumstances line up better he leads us to multiple titles. Unfortunately we’ve reached a point where the rhetoric and toxicity about and towards him in both the fan base and through the media has made his time here untenable. Even if both player and club wanted to double down and really make it work, it’s absolutely reached the point where it’s beneficial for both parties to move on. Heartbreaking to see him leave but wish him all the best.

he really has been the best part of some bang-average teams and I hope fans realize how taken for granted it's been
