He could certainly be booked much worse but they gotta stop booking Owens in title matches if he’s just gonna lose every single one. Also kind of humorous that he seems to be the “winter / Royal Rumble timeframe” opponent for the champions having his fights with Roman and now Cody all around the same time of year.

If/when Cena wins the title in 2025 it would be great to see Owens be the one to beat him for it circling all the way back to when Owens first joined the main roster and beat Cena.

I do love a good ol-fashioned "pretend to break kayfave from the owner" kind of angle. And KO is the king of them. This whole feud is basically KO not going to the ring and cutting promos; but instead doing them on X or in his car with Cole.

I wanna say, he's probably Lawler level bad on most things; he clearly knew *just* enough about Liv/Dom/Rhea to get that piece right, but, didnt quite have the bead on his early stuff. But, for Cody/KO, where Cody is cosplaying as an 80s wrestling character anyway for the last 5+ years, and where Cole is playing his Gorilla, yeah, he crushed it. Shit, I'd build an entire angle out of KO respecting Jesse for calling it as it is, and being disappointed in Dusty's son for cheating heading into the Rumble.

 

Its also clearly Rumble build season, because Chelsea Green is theoretically the 2nd most face character holding a belt...depending how you'd position Gunther.

 

Only thing I’ll point out about Jesse is he said something about it being 40 years since he’s been part of WWE but I mean he’s been there a handful of times in my life time

So was Ricky Starks being pulled from his GCW match a work if AEW and GCW are working together now?

 

Sami/Drew really started to pick up steam and could have been awesome given more time
