TikTok is feeding me tons of content from Ohio State fans this week and it’s really funny how they’re convinced the weather is gonna be a huge factor (I doubt this) and that we don’t play in atmospheres like the Shoe. Like we don’t regularly go to Florida, Georgia, Bama, LSU… there’s a lot for a Tennessee fan to feel uncomfortable about this matchup. Atmosphere ain’t it.

 

Outside of two games at Sanford, my entire football going experience has been Bobby Dodd stadium and the Georgia dome/MBS where there aren’t ever very many people.

Being in Sanford this year made me physically uncomfortable once the game started, like I thought I was about to have a panic attack over the noise and sheer amount of people.

You always hear about environment this and home field advantage that on tv but I have no idea how any visiting teams can play football in that kind of environment lol

He’s been overlooked all season, so I’m not surprised Dylan Sampson didn’t make the top ten, but Kyle McCord is quite the head scratcher over at least 5 other players for me.

 

My lasting impression of Kyle McCord is the Pitt game and it’s wild that anyone could watch that game and conclude he’s a top 10 player in college football

 

Iirc he's leading the league in passing yards so I think people were just lazy lol

I just don’t see how a player who is one of the best at two positions and plays twice as many snaps is not more impressive than a player who is the best at only one. It’s been literally decades since we’ve seen something like this. There has been like 20 2k yard rushers in that same timeframe.
