My buddy always tells the tale of the “last time he saw me cry” and it was in 1st or 2nd grade and school lunch was meatball subs. I got my sub. Went for a bite. Dropped it.

They allowed me to get a 2nd sub. Dropped it. I got a 3rd try. Dropped it again.

Then just started crying and no idea what happened after

 

Then the principal let him open her can of worms

 

None of my getting in trouble stories are that riveting in comparison to my one friend who made a bomb and blew up our marketing teacher’s mailbox

 

Had a teacher in 8th grade that no one liked and one day he was entering grades into the computer while my friend was standing waiting for him and he noticed that there was a power strip next to his foot, so he turned it off and that teacher lost all progress on entering grades

 

I agree that I don’t think AJ’s comments were necessarily directed at Hurts, but rather the offense. However, they still do a lot of stuff that Sirianni has been doing for a while now.

I do think Hurts is a big part of the problem though. Some alarming stats that one of the film guys I follow has broken down:

- Over the last month (four games), only 2.2 percent of his throws have traveled at least 20 yards down the field. That’s the second-lowest of all starting quarterbacks (only Gardner Minshew is lower).

- Over the last month, 22.2 percent of Hurts’ throws happen after four seconds, by far the highest mark in the league.

- Hurts either throws it away, gets sacked, or scrambles on 41.4 percent of his dropbacks in the last month.

I’ll share a screenshot on a moment, but Hurts has not been playing well lately, or for much of this season. But they’re 11-2 in spite of him

 

Don’t think the issue is as simple of “Where are the go balls?” The issue is Hurts is holding onto the ball too long and throwing short passes and turning down open receivers down the field

 

My 7th grade computer teacher had a seizure in front of us and fell off her desk and hit her head open and was bleeding everywhere.

She only got hired because the previous computer teacher fled the country cause he was caught with child porn.

 

My 7th grade computer teacher was also the one that told us about 9/11 but was super weird about it.

 

From just the casual eye test I feel like Hurts is not seeing the field even CLOSE to well.

So many times he misses the wide open underneath WR and just stares down the deep WR too long and gets sacked, tried to scramble, etc.

 

When I was a senior our assistant principal stabbed himself and blamed a student. We were on lockdown all day

This and the inverse have been issues for years with him now. It was excusable in his first year as a starter back in 2021, then he took a big step forward the following year when they went to the super bowl, but there were still concerns about the offense being "simple" or heavy on "college concepts" for Hurts. He's been trending in the wrong direction since then and that season is looking more and more like an outlier and it's becoming more and more apparent that Hurts limits the offense.

Sorry, but when you hold the ball longer than Aiden O'Connell, throw shorter than him, don't throw deep as often as him, face less pressure than him, throw the ball away more than him, get sacked more than him, and scramble more than him

A thousand percent and it sucks having to start a QB I think is bad in fantasy cause he spams scrambles and rushing TDs lol

 

I don’t care about your fantasy team man, I just want AJ to hold up the lombardi

 

The Eagles have become one of the most run-heavy teams in the league since their bye week, if not THE most (especially on early downs) and it’s not only because Saquon is awesome
