I like Ricochet. Wish he had a better run on the main roster

 

He's a perfect AEW guy because I dont think he'll ever be more than a guy who wins a mid-card belt....but the random title and tag possibilites are very fun. Wish he was a better promo because he's 100% the vet mentor that Top Flight/Andretti need to focus their act ("I used to just do flippy shit for fun" kinda stuff), and there'd be a Judgement Day level act out of it, but, sadly he doesnt have that.

Rewatching last years Iron Survivor match and there is maybe nothing funnier I've seen than Bron Breakker taking 3 fast falls in 30s and the crowd being so mad when Briggs sends Trick to the penalty box after that too. Like they really built that Dijak/Briggs feud to the point people thought one of them might win match...and the crowd hated it...and popped so hard for Bate being their new savior.

edit: Fucking lol, 20-21mins is all Briggs/Dijak aligning to murder everyone, when it becomes 3-3-3-2-0 (again, trick at 0, penalty box til 23mins). You literally cant book a babyface more under.

edit 2: fucking lol, he also puts Trick through the barricade at 23:10. In a way, nobody has no sold a spear harder than Trick Williams, who got 4 pins after that. in 100s

edit 3: Trick is in control of the match for about 8 seconds. You couldn't be more irresponsible in booking a major title contender and yet it works.

 

I’m more of a casual when it comes to nxt, but is Sol Ruca a female version of Osprey ? If so that’s pretty sweet

 

I guess you can say that. She's only been wrestling for like 3 years I think. So impressive

 

NXT'S women's division really can't be touched at the moment. They are all on fucking fire

There's something to be done with him being the condescending dick heel that Balor was when he returned to NXT, but they've got too many heels dominating the show as it is.

 

Yeah, hard to be a condescending heel on a roster that already has MJF, Christian, and Jericho on the show every week.

There's probably a solid angle in him turning down the Hurt Syndicate and aligning against them for a bit.
