I always said my super power would be to solve all the unsolved mysteries but I'd also like to be able to clear out all the lines at the pharmacy. I just have one lil prescription!

 

Being able to clear out lines would be amazing, especially when trying to get a pack of gum at the gas station and everyone in front of me wants 20 different lottery tickets

 

My super power would be never having to use the bathroom ever again.

I am constantly stuck in situations where I have to just hold my bladder.

 

I love Spotify for the social features and the Daily Playlists and Discover Weekly features are verrryyyy on point. Plus if you have family members who wanna join, it's super cheap. I think $15 for 5 lines.

 

Literally as long as I've been on AP there's been cliques. Idk what you can do about them other than post where ya want to post.

 

Yup! I share with my brother and sister in law. Good deal...... though I for some reasons still have Apple Music due to Exclusives heh...

I don't use any of the Discover features tho.

 

I've found so much new music through Discover. It's kind of eerie how on point it is.

 

People in both threads have said they aren't comfortable in the other thread, which is silly to me tbh

But if we're just talking these to threads, everyone is nice and it isn't division/cliques like we had on AP

Yeah well I have my reasons to be uncomfortable in general.

 

I really don't have much of an opinion on it. I like to talk to my friends and I'll talk to them where it's convenient to do so. If it were consolidated to one thread I'd do it there, if it's in both threads I'll do both.

I feel like it's pretty nice to split the pace out as well. I remember at launch the sole Gen. Thread moved at a ridiculous pace which of course it's great to have activity but I like knowing if I don't log on one night it won't be a chore to catch up with a thread because the activity is split out a bit.

But if that wasn't the case I wouldn't be mad.

 

The more threads, the better.

 

I mean if we we're all postin in the same thread it would be way harder to keep up. I don't see it as a big deal. I dont have any beef with anyone. I understand if other people do. gotta do watcha gotta do.

A1 thread is basically a new version of the like all posts in this thread where it was all a certain group of people always in there.

 

Honestly, I like having two threads. More topics of discussion, easier to keep up with the conversations happening, and less pressure to constantly be refreshing (I tend to need to be caught up with everything).

I don't think there's much of a clique issue - there's a lot of crossposting between people in the threads. I think it's just two different group chats with different topics. I don't believe there's anything dangerous or toxic in doing that... it just lets people stick with the conversations they feel like they can contribute to. I would find one thread to be harder to be part of for that reason. When the A1 thread gets into sports or local stuff, I tend to jump over to other threads. And vice versa. If there's no other conversational thread, wat do?

I post in that thread cause thats where my friends on here are. I love when people who dont normally post in there actually do. I WELCOME IT. Please come and talk about nonsense while we are just getting through the grind of everyday living. We dontt make anything exclusive and if theres any joke you dont understand i'll be happy to inform you. I genuinely can't comprehend why people have a problem with this. I apologize if it makes you feel left out. It shouldnt. Come join us.

You don't understand the context or what happened a few months ago. The thread previous to the A1 one was the "like every post in this thread" one. That's what A1 replaced. A lot of people didn't like it. I personally believe things have been left unresolved and I feel uncomfortable with certain situations and people. I shouldn't, and neither should others, have to feel this way.

 

yeah tbh I thought that was (sorta) behind us - haven't seen some good ol mesage board drama in a while tho
