I can’t help you over there in Iowa I’m enjoying Natty Boh too much lol

it’s perfect it doesn’t have that shitty-Pilsner tart/bitter nose like PBR or Miller but it also doesn’t taste “dirty” like other straight shitty-Lagers like Budweiser. Doesn’t taste watery like Lite beers. Just a really crisp, almost banana subtle sweetness on the nose and a crisp dry carbonated finish that doesn’t leave you feeling thirsty. And it’s best on tap. all of that is exactly what I want from $3 beer

 

Natty Boh is ELITE at an Orioles game when it’s just a little bit too hot, it’s the most refreshing beer

 

I also love how much of a hyper-local tradition it still is, 90% of all Natty Boh consumed is within Baltimore city limits. If you’re truly from Baltimore everyone who isn’t sober in your family all drinks Boh lol

I'm glad more companies are making NA beer, but at the same time, I find it hilarious that there are NA versions of the "bad cheap beer" because the reason people drink that bad cheap beer in the first place is it's a cheap way to get drunk, not because they actually taste good lol. I'm noticing more craft breweries starting to make NA versions of their beer which is good and they actually taste good

It’s funny because my relationship with Kislings is NOT grimace’s relationship with Alexions lol. Kislings is not a “cool dive bar”, it’s a very boomer-esque sports pub that plays classic rock and shit lol. I would probably never go there if they didn’t have elite wings and NFL Sunday ticket. It’s not where I’m taking a date for a drink lol. But those two things are all you need to get my repeat business lol. And stuff like the bartender saving me a seat in front of the Jags game, and the bartenders not allowing any political discussions at all cause they don’t wanna deal with drunk republicans talking about Donald Trump, those things make it cozy haha

but think about it, most dudes who formerly had a drinking problem, they don’t miss the IPAs lol they miss the comfort beers they used to crush 30 cans of with their buddies. It’s not even about making it taste good so much as making it taste familiar

 

What we miss most of all are the days where we weren’t asked questions at social events

 

I probably spend more money on NA beer now than I did on real beer when I was drinking.

Athletic brewing is still hands down the best I've found
