For my boxed Mac and Cheese I typically use a mix of butter and grated cheese as a milk substitute, with a bit of oil to add some more liquidity.

If you ever visited your company's page on TheLayoff.com and see what your colleagues are anonymously saying about your CEO and board. it isn't really shocking to see how populist some professional managerial class middle manager types secretly are. It is like anon linkedin and you see posts like that on there a lot.

Fairlife is where it's at. Love their chocolate milk.

Anti-milk people are the wild ones. Weird serial killer behavior if you ask me.

I would make snarky comments on LinkedIn, but I'm connected with just about every single person of leadership at my company, who would likely see my posts in their feeds, risking my future employment, haha

Im of the belief, in the US, that most people have insurance through work, and choose what they have available, and some of those might HAVE to choose UHC.

And I, like most people, choose a plan that best fits them, and pay the costs, and manage to do ok. But there are OOP expenses that run high, and for the average family, that may have some issues, the MRI's, the infusions, the meds... they get covered most of the time, and you do have some OOP expenses.

Then I know there are some families that have to jump thru hoops to get things covered, and fight tooth and nail for anything - and sometimes they lose that fight (We had issues with a specialized baby formula 20+ years ago, that we needed LMN's from doctors, allergists, specialists, etc....)

We did NOT have to fight as hard as some people, I Know that. I Get that. There are sometimes that I curse the insurance companies, but again, I am glad I am covered for my meds, my daughters meds, and everything else.

Do I know the CEO that was shot? Nope. I Do not have UHC. Do I want the CEO of BCBS shot? No. DO I want the CEO of any healthcare shot? No.

Does that solve anything? I doubt it. They get another, and things remain status quo.

I feel bad for his family, as i Feel bad for any family that has someone shot and killed on the news.

Do I like the jokes on twitter, about needing a PA before giving prayers? No.

But I do understand that if this person that shot him, was a person with UHC insurance, and was denied treatment, or a family member was denied.... I get the anger. I Do. I Just do not think that this is the way to make a change.

(I went on longer than I Wanted - Im sorry for that - but thanks for reading this)

I have seen former cops and security analysts go over the footage. The consensus seems to be that this guy clearly had some firearms training, moreso than the average civilian, but isn't an expert, and the "this is an experienced professional hitman" thing is overblown.

My guess is this is a former cop or military veteran, but not like on the elite spec ops tactical guy level.

I hear what you are saying, but I think you are overlooking a lot of stuff, not the least of which being that this specific human person bragged to shareholders about getting UnitedHealthcare's claim denial rate up to 30%. that percentage is made up of other human beings who his actions made more miserable, which he knew full well when he gleefully celebrated this fact to other people who were also making money of this situation. These are all active choices that he made.

All I know is, the first thing I thought about when it came to sympathy for him, it was not for him but rather his wife and kids. I am terrified of leaving my kid, soon to be kids, without their dad. I feel awful for them. But I also know this dude helped drive the company he ran to make decisions where his first thought wasn't about the kids his decisions were possibly leaving without a parent. So I don't feel the need to exclaim my glee over his death because I guess that's just mostly not who I am, but I'm not gonna begrudge people who are because of how many people he's hurt. And I'm okay with myself in that and I'm okay with laughing at the jokes people are making because I know I thought about his kids long before he thought about anybody else's. I don't need to feel bad for laughing.
