I'm seven hours in. WD2 is fucking awesome. first one seems dull in comparison. it's great how much more attention they've put on hacking and have added so many new ways to do so. San Francisco is really bright and lively. I keep buying Marcus new outfits.

 

How's the story?

Going to download Watch Dogs 2 tonight and then download Dishonored 2 tomorrow.

 

Smite Super Regionals start in a few minutes and it makes me sad that the season is nearly over.

Season 3 has been super fun and there have been some great gods introduced in.

 

If it wasn't so close to FFXV/I wasn't still going through a handful of other games, I'd pick up WD2 in a second. Seems like a great improvement over the first.

love diablo 3, i play on ps4. i pretty much just pick it up every few months or so for a week or two then dont play for a few months

 

I need to play more of the console Diablo 3. I played tonnnn of the PC version, picked up the PS4 one cheap and really, really like the direct control but never dug very deep. Adding in seasons is gonna get me back in though, I think.

Playing those kinds of games sometimes makes me a little dizzy, no idea why

 

Beat the main quest in skyrim last night, pretty much powered through it without doing many other side quests besides all of winter hold. So now I'm level 18ish and pretty damn powerful and bought a house in Whiterun. I have more gold than I know what to do with and still have a shit load of stuff to sell for even more gold. Most annoying part of this game is a. vendors have a finite amount of gold and b. you can only sell certain stuff to certain vendors. I spent like half an hour looking for a general goods vendor in Markarth and never found one lol

 

On the Xbox and PC there is a mod for the gold

 

WD2 is good. The stuff I worried would be cringe worthy is a lot more tongue in cheek than I expected, which is appreciated. 3 or so hours in and I've had a great time.

There's a mod on PS4 called Rich merchants of Skyrim, that and the ring of increased carry weight are pretty useful. Be warned though you won't earn trophys with mods on.

 

Not that far in so I can't say as much. I'll have a better opinion in a few days. I think it really relies on how it's gonna end. I will say that the missions are much more fun and memorable, and there's much more interaction between characters. I don't think the dialogue is as bad as is being said, I just find it hilarious. At least if I compare it to WD1 it's a lot better. I'll have a more concrete opinion once it's over. Hopefully there will be some major surprises and twists, and that they won't be disappointing. I'd like to see some sort of conflict somewhere. Not gonna be surprised if it's the least 'positive' or the 'worst' thing about the game, but considering how much better game this in general, it won't pull it down too far.

A lot of my time is spent figuring out how to complete the missions because this game is much more about the hacking. You really cannot just run through the place after a few hacks or something. You'd be surrounded.

Oh - the side missions. So much better. They have purpose and make sense, and you actually want to do them. This is what side missions should have been like in the first hand.

As for the webcam thing. Basically Sitara is mad at a younger relative (she's her...cousin? niece? i don't remember) for livestreaming a lot. She asks Marcus (you) to scare her by hacking her webcam and then messing with her (turning lights on/off, changing the music on her player). Sitara then says to Marcus that she'll have a long talk with her later. I don't see the purpose of this mission at all other than just to have a reason to do something silly (messing with someone). I don't know if that's the end of that 'storyline' or not, but the way it was done was random. There was nothing inappropriate, sexual, sexist. It's more so Sitara's comments that could be perceived as victim blaming because of what she says. There's like, very little context and it just comes out of nowhere.

 

hmm maybe i'll start a new character that i use mods on and use no mods on my current one

 

A wise move, I would've done the same if I hadn't completed the game previously on ps3. This time I was like gimme the mods.

 

Persona 5 delayed until April 4th :(

yeah i beat the game on 360 back in the day but really hadnt touched it since 2012 and never did a ton of the side quests so a lot of this is feeling fresh. its also why i wanted to power through the main quest just to get it out of the way since im familiar with it

Nice, I haven't really made a dent in the story yet, I've just done the first mission with Delphine. I'm looking forward to doing all the dlc as I never touched that first time round.
