    The rivalry is back on

    big Skattebo fan

    —————

if my more niche wants are a mid-round (late day 2/early day 3; might go higher on the LB) receiving RB and coverage LB and my presumed GM cares a lot about testing scores and not a lot about size at those positions, anyone you’d specifically keep an eye out for?

Wouldn't shock me if 5 months from now the Texans 1st rounder is Burden or Egbuka

The way the board is starting to shake out and this class is sorting out is pretty terrible for the Patriots

Could end up with Travis Hunter. That's pretty dope

I look forward to the Jags debates of "should Travis Hunter play both ways in the NFL?"

Not a debate the answer is objectively yes

I know this is all under the idea of "Doug is fired" but if Shad is glued to him I like the idea of the guy who had trouble properly deploying Etienne figuring out how to use Hunter

Remembering this when I inevitably get excited about the mid-round WR prospects again this year

Javon Baker having 0 catches is so brutal

"Should we have Wemby shoot threes also or nah"
More than a few of those should've been obvious tbf

lol yeah, but it feels a lot less fun to have been right about guys like Cowing or Corley being overhyped by draft heads or to have been right about guys like Polk/McCaffrey/Baker being pretty big reaches when the answer was “they all did nothing” and the guys I liked (Franklin and Wilson in particular) are also looking like misses at this early point

I’m still really surprised by Polk.

the NYJ offensive staff (and Aaron Rodgers) just refuse to create manufactured touches for Malachi Corley

Cowing :(. Baker and Franklin are guys in really liked though that should have every opportunity to thrive. They just arent

The Franklin one is particularly surprising to me. I was really in on them pairing QB and WR (I desperately wanted Tez Walker for Maye

Roman Wilson missing most of training camp wasn’t ideal for him.

my current answer is that Will Campbell is my favorite OL in the draft and “shorter arms but otherwise good” has worked pretty well for IND when drafting tackles so I’m not as concerned about him HAVING to move inside. Aireonte Ersery and Cameron Williams are the project guys who probably test super well, but I don’t think NE’s current roster makeup supports a project OT very well
