Yes, Wax Mage is the company that presses the variants - usually elaborate and very small runs I believe. Each to their own but I completely agree with you - aside from test pressings perhaps, I think all variants should be the same price at point of sale. Kind of goes against how record collecting has always been. Seeing it more and more now though.

I read that as they are repressing 3 other albums. Which makes sense since their early stuff is not really available these days. Gotta hope this is just the band variant and there will be others.

 

I could never part with this record. It’s a classic for me!
