DQ3 so far…is gorgeous. Its weird though how there’s just the main character, obviously the lead in the story, but the other party members are blank slates that you can basically make into any character/appearence/job you want with a character creator. It’s a cool concept and I like that custom feature, but I was hoping for more characters I interact with for the story. It’s still early though, so we’ll see

 

I think they sacrificed having story characters be in your party for dq3 to allow you to switch party members since it is as far as I can find the first JRPG to ever let you change your party

 

That time of the year where I play Skyrim entirely too much. This game is an absolute dream on the steam deck

 

I watched the green knight the other day and god it just made me want to play Skyrim all over again

Couple spends almost $1,000,000 building a family home 'optimized for LAN parties,' and the result is definitely living that dream

I should start a blog ranking certain aspects of metroidvanias, like story, combat, traversal, art, music, level design, character progression, but in the end every point total will equal 10/10

 

Took some gummies last night. Played Veilguard whilst listening to Alex G and Ka. Was a transcendent experience.

 

At work can’t stop thinking about Skyrim

 

Just completed Far Cry 5. Found the plot and characters so obnoxious that I just started skipping every cutscene. Hated the ending (and apparently I got the good one?). Still had a lot of fun with the actual gameplay though, will probably dive into 4 soon.

Wanting something shorter next so going to try out Bomb Rush Cyberfunk.

 

Steam Autumn Sale is happening, just stocked up on cheap weird fun indie games.

 

Bomb Rush Cyberfunk is pretty good.
