Infinite Jest is well worth the read. I read it for a class on Wallace in grad school. We did it in a month which seems insane looking back on it, but seriously such a fun book that I still think about and would love to read again, but which seems so daunting even now.

I have an opinion on bald men that probably belongs in the unpopular opinions thread and doesn't apply to Jkauf because he's looking awesome and has one of the best pictures in the picture thread but...

I hate that the reddit advice of just shave it has been so wildly and blindly accepted. Watching older movies I've begun to appreciate how much style and personality their is to work with hair that is receding or even full on balding without shaving it. The just shave it mantra tells men to give up and don't even consider to trying to be handsome or stylish without a full head of hair. I feel the prevalence of transplants is adding to this aswell.

 

tbf reddit also thinks you should divorce someone if they buy chunky over smooth peanut butter
