Excited to finally check out Terrifier 3 tonight! It’s been very hard to avoid memes and spoilers online for the last month and a half. Surprisingly I even got my GF into the last movie and she wasn’t grossed out by the gore. We struggled much more with the Substance than we did with Terrifier 2.

 

Or, he’s just a bit wes than craven.

I will be seeing the Nick Frost film, Y2K, and probably Babygirl and the Wolfman at some point

 

Y2K looks great and terrible at the same time, but I’m in.

 

Doing my first Terrifier 3 rewatch. What a year for horror to have this and the Substance hit theaters lol.

I wanna do either World’s Fair or TV Glow tonight. Should I do World’s Fair first or does it not matter

 

I don't think it matters so much continuity-wise, but I appreciated seeing Schoenbrun's growth as a creator from World's Fair to TV Glow.

 

It does not really matter, but TV Glow is a much easier entry point imo and I'd love to read your thoughts on it

 

I liked it! Some really effective moments in here. The scene of her waking up in bed got me pretty good

 

Not sure what I'm gonna watch tonight, but I'm off tomorrow, so I'm finishing Red Rooms and then making a few drinks. Maybe Silent Night, Deadly Night 3?

 

Red Rooms was really good and really fucked up, especially for a movie with no on-screen violence. I'm not 100% sure what to make of the ending, but I'm looking forward to chewing on it and reading others' thoughts.

 

Loved Smile 2. Naomi Scott's performance. The Cinematography, the music, shit even the dance choreography. Just a incredibly well crafted horror film.

 

I have had I Need A New Brain stuck in my head all day.

Honestly I think there is a solid case that Smile 2 should get a Best Original Song Oscar nom.
