My mom snagged me a pair for Brooklyn night 1! She texted me that she was number 3500 in the queue, I said surely you mean 35,000…nope! Go figure.

 

Oh yes, there is big demand for her

 

I have to assume there’ll be dates added depending on what’s happening but fuck me.

 

Looks like they added two for Brooklyn, probably add one for Chicago.

Edit: maybe not, these dates are close together.

 

Fuck these chicago prices so fucking hard. $300 for floor, 110 for aisle on the upper level of the Allstate. Absolutely not.

 

makes me glad I snagged Coachella tickets for $550, single headliner arena show prices are a fucking joke.

 

Exactly my thoughts. I'd rather go to a weak Coachella IMO over a single arena date at a shit arena in the Chicago suburbs.

 

yeah I gave up, even on the added bk dates. prices are out of control.

 

I'm sure it's going to be a great show, just not sure it's a $300 show for the floor.

An experience I'd much rather have, too. I go out to my neighborhood bar once a week, rarely spend above $100 and have a much better experience than an arena show.

 

I saw at least one comment on the subreddit saying they confirmed with their bank they had enough money in their account. Maybe you shouldn't be buying concert tickets then...

 

God, I hope so. To me, at scale, this is beyond what Taylor tickets actually cost for what you got.

Edit: so you get where I'm coming from...

I paid $650 total for two Taylor tickets last year. A three hour set or so, multiple openers, and a generational artist. Charli still can be but I am not paying Taylor prices for an arena show.

 

Any time now people will vote with their wallets instead of fighting for a chance to shove hundreds if not thousands of dollars down a multi-millionaire’s throat meanwhile supporting one of the most harmful orgs to music this side of Spotify.

 

And one who has a shareholder which is full of Trump supporters.

 

It’s straight up FOMO and I’ve been guilty of it too. The concert is going to happen whether you buy tickets or not so people have this mentality that if they do not buying tickets they’re going to see pictures and videos and hype from the tour and have major FOMO and regret for not grabbing a ticket, even if it’s not a financially wise decision for them to do so.
