what if you were close enough that your proximity is on par with an intimate venue? Because I’ve been second off the rail for Taylor once and front row another time. It feels different when you’re at the center of the arena, but I also wouldn’t spend crazy money to be in the upper level of a stadium

 

I’d pay above $100 for:

Bruce Springsteen
MCR doing a theatric performance of Danger Days
The Killers so beads can finally see them
Billy Joel so beads can finally see him

that’s basically it

 

Nothing against people who go to arena shows to see their favorites, I know for most folks that IS what a concert is because popular music is popular.

for me it’s literally just a bias because I already go to cheap awesome indie rock shows but the sound is way better and there’s no awful lines or awful parking lol. So even when there is a SUPER popular band that I like, I just can’t see myself getting the same value out of that experience

I am social but believe it or not I hate enormous crowds. Like, a few hundred is whatever but once it gets into the tens of thousands it becomes uncomfortable. I only really deal with that shit for sports. And like, city festivals where it’s easy to migrate around and everyone’s not bottlenecking in the same spot
