Yeah the Costco guys I don’t follow but everything I see of them seems wholesome and in good faith. Then you have absolutely unhinged people like baby gronk. Don’t know anything about him other than they have him pose and interact with scantily dressed women in his clips. Then you have pos Adin Ross, Sneako and Asmingold. All seem like terrible people and nobody has told them no. They are also influencing millions of young boys and it’s terrifying.

 

Kai Cenat and Jack Doherty are probably worse

 

I genuinely hope bad things happen to Doherty. He's the worst type of American.

Standing desks are for psychopaths

 

hm I miss my standing desk somedays

actually the desk I have now is a sit/stand desk. It took two hours to assemble and after I fired it up, only one side of it raised. I was pissed as hell but my company paid for it so I didn't feel like going through the trouble of disassembling it and sending it back

 

I appreciate that because of the pychos I was provided a desk I can adjust the height of easily and precisely

 

My desk at work is standing and I don't have a chair, I sit at home though

Disaster at the Metro (Nov 21, 7:40am)
This week the noble workers of Transport New South Wales are taking industrial action. Very cool get em boys. Action is scheduled for Friday and I am prepared to take the bus even though the Metro is better. Today is Thursday, I arrive at the Metro to a message on the screen: DUE TO POWER OUTAGE METRO IS DOWN BETWEEN CHERRYBROOK AND CHATSWOOD. BUSES WILL REPLACE TRAINS AT CHERRYBROOK. The Pain of Life. Its pain because even though I was prepared for it on friday I had planned to get the express bus all the way in. Im not fucking around getting the metro to to Cherrybrook, getting off, getting the bus to Chatswood, then getting back on the Metro to Central.

I drive my car to the express bus stop and get the express bus to the city. This bus route is an old favourite of mine and I'm hoping It will zoom me in. Today’s bus decided it is not my friend and won't be zooming and I'm definitely going to be late. It's a full house double decker with no available seats, the roof is too low and I'm forced to stand in uncomfortable misery. Resourcefully I secure a spot in the no standing exit area where the off ramp is slightly lower and I can stand without bending my neck but it's still bad because now I'm standing unnaturally on slanted ground and I'm concerned about my safety standing in the no standing area, I can only hope my fellow bussers know I'm only doing it because of my height situation and not because I have no respect for bus rules. TPoL continues. I receive a brief respite as a seat opens up near the back of the bus. It was a strange kind of seat I had not seen before, right near the back but also facing the back. I take out my book and open it but before I can start reading its words I hear a familiar, terrible sound. At the back of the bus, directly facing me in front of my backwards facing seat sits an ageing business boy draped in his favourite black Pearl Jam 10 Club TShirt (Later in the day I will find out they are playing in town tonight) he opens his mouth and blurts out business calls all the way into town.

I get off at Town Hall and take the light rail over to Haymarket. I'm 50 mins late but I won't have to stay back because I tried my best.

The Way Back Home (Nov 21, 5pm)
I get on the light rail. It's the wrong line. I didn't know there was two. I get off and back on. I walk through the city to the bus stop. That's an hour of my life. At the bus stop there's a long line of bus waiters waiting for their bus and I join in on the wait. It's almost as long of a wait as it was of a line. I don't know why they're so long but there is a young woman waiter who's not having it. She's very upset. I'm upset too but I hide better behind my prescription sunglasses. Turns out it's not just the state of the Hills Bus service she's upset about but also she's had a family emergency. Her fellow bus riders rally to help her charge her phone and contact her hysterical sister and mother. After the emergency is over I nap in my normal style seat, drifting off till my stop to the sweet sound of British podcasters chatting about the French revolution.
